Marcabamba,
We made it to Marcabamba. I got very sick on the way here. I never
get sick in the mountains but the last three days were not good.
Incredible pain in the stomach. Praise God today I feel better today.
I do need to be careful on what I eat.
We went and visited people early morning, at some point I told Pastor
Daryl that we looked like Jehovah witnesses cause we even had
christian literature in our hands to give out.
We visited sister Ruth. A lady who has polio on the left leg and has
problems walking. At her house she shared with us how hard it had been
to be a christian in a place where other christians had mistreated
her, lied to one another and had caused her to seek isolation.
We prayed for her and her two daughters and then she treated us
breakfast. Some good quaker, bread and cheese and corn.
Church arrangments were to have a service at 10am. We were late and
began the meeting with Fanny, just a few minutes after we had started
Ruth showed.
Pastor Evaristo shared the Word from Matthew.
Prayed for the brethren´s reconciliation.
We hope to visit some believers tonight and maybe have a small
prayer/bible time.
Thank your for your prayers.
