Thoughts on miracles

Why we don't see that many miracles taking place as they did in the book of Acts?

1- One of the reasons, I think is that we would rely more on  faith. Not on things that we want to see due to our own unbelief. Not on miracles.

2- Another problem is our ego-centrism. We want/are eager to be praised to receive the glory.
