Striving to achieve

Forgetting what is in the past, looking forward to what the future holds.

Church family.
There was a need to help a very young student. She is nine years old. Her name is Sheyla. She is Ada's daughter. Ada is Susana's sister. Ada and Susana are Sister Maria and Brother Eugenio's daughters.

Sheyla is learning English at school. She needed help enunciating the numbers, from 0 to 30. She learned them very well, she has a good ear.
She was able to count them from 0 to 30 and even from 30 to 0.

All that to say,I think I am still processing the thought of "Family". Spending time with Sheyla. She was very shy just two or three years ago. Now, I could hold a very fluid and intelligent dialogue with her.

Daniel and Erick work at Sheyla's father's company. They make furniture with wood and other materials.

I was going to leave, but I knew I had to spend time with Daniel. When I came downstairs, it was not only Daniel, but Pablo, his brother was there.
Daniel asked me to say a little bit longer till he was finished with his chores.
I would have waited hours.
After we sorted out some, we were on our way home. Pablo and Daniel plus myself were walking now to Daniel's family's house. It was Dina's birthday.

We stopped on a Chifa Tent. We ordered 3 Aeropuertos ( Fried Rice and noodles to go)
It took the chef about 10 minutes to have our orders ready, we walked through 15 de Julio Av. At the very last corner we bought sweets for Dina.
Crossed the street light and got into a combi ( Very small vans) There were about three people hanging by the door.
Made it to their house. Waited for an hour till Dina finally arrived.
We prayed, sang songs, played games, laughed very, very hard till the time of sharing some words was in turn.

I like this time when almost everyone gets to share. I tried to emphasize God's love. 1 Cor 13. Also, the sweet feeling of belonging to the church. That very small house is a church. Is my church. Is my family. I belong to them.
To the true body of Christ, those who share the same savior and Lord.
Jesus Christ.
