Trying to keep up.

Student Teaching

This Friday will start my Teaching sessions for the month of November. I have four Fridays left. The first Friday in December is Evaluation day and the second is an extra class to be assessed.

It has been hard, I have taught about four classes thus far. I promised them that I would do my best.

I have learned that I have to be very sensitive to the students level and also to how these youngsters get the most motivated.

Then it will be done.

The body of Christ.

Kill all the selfishness that is in me. I desire to give it all up to you. Why have you given me so much and I still want more, Why others have less than I do? Why others have more than I do? Why is there no justice? Why is there no equality?
A sister in Christ does not know how to read. She stands up and listens when the Bible is read out loud.
Why do I envy others that have things that I do not?

I walked in and there were Sisters Maria and Modesta. On the left was Brother Milan reading adds on the bulletin.
It was about to be 8pm. Decided to start the meeting with a prayer. Sang old hymns and brother Milan shared with us from Hebrews 11.

Without faith is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. V.6

We prayed for several families that went astray but are now coming back like the prodigal son.

Sister Maria and I walked to her place. Went up to the third store and there was Benjamin, the youngest of six kids. Sister Maria brought out food. We ate as we watched some Chinese TV. Benjamin pulled out his sweet black new guitar.
He is learning. Sister Maria's husband is in prison. They are looking for a house to live.

Walked down to the first floor. Erick and Raquel Caso's place. Erick has 6 siblings. He had just finished talking with his mom. He shared bad news. His parents had just decided to divorce. We opened the word. Relief, hope and strength came to the three of us.

And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul...
Deuteronomy 10:12

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5

He works all day long. He comes back at home and the he has dinner.
We all ate a late dinner. It is about midnight, tomorrow he will have to go work to bring bread to his table again.

1 Thessalonians 5:25
Brothers, pray for us.
